oh no, hockey bot crashed.

pretty happy with how the NHL script is turning out. it’s live on @lab.

it’s written from scratch in python. there are a few bugs in it. looks like maybe a goal was called back in the MIN/FLA game earlier today?

going to see how well it works the rest of the evening, then clean it up a bit, and create a separate account for it.

I set up an account for testing @lab.

NHL scores are updating.

Once I feel like it’s working ok enough, I will toss it on my web server and then make an account on this instance that will post scores.

Using this instance as a Mastodon learning project. The goal is to set up automated feeds for sports scores. Going to start with the NHL and add others if people show interest.
